July 2025 - China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) owns the project; In October 2021, BP has signed a sales and purchase agreement with Shenzhen Gas Group Co Ltd to supply natural gas for 10 years starting 2023 through the terminal; The project is operated by Guangdong Dapeng LNG Company Limited (GDLNG) which is a consortium between China National Offshore Corporation (CNOOC, 33%), Guangdong Province consortium (31%) (which includes Shenzhen Investment Holding Company, Guangdong Electric Power Holding Company, Guangzhou Gas Company, Dongguan Fuel Industrial General Company and Foshan Municipal Gas General Company), BP (30%), Hong Kong Electric and Light Company (3%) and Hong Kong and China Gas Corporation (3%)
