May 2026 - INPEX has reached an agreement in principle with PT Pupuk Indonesia for pipeline natural gas supply from the terminal; April 2026 - INPEX Corporation has extended its memorandum of understanding with PT Pertamina for the project; January 2026 - INPEX Corporation is expected to make a final investment decision for the terminal in 2027; August 2025 - INPEX Corporation has commenced front end engineering and design (FEED) work for the project; October 2023 - Shell plc has completed the sale of its 35% stake in the project to Pertamina and Petronas; As per December 2020, INPEX Corporation has signed a memorandum of understanding with PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk concerning the domestic LNG supply from the project
