November 2025 - The project is operated by Royal Vopak; January 2023 - The Netherlands is expanding the capacity at the terminal; SENER has been contracted to provide the EPCM services for maintenance and improvement activities at the project in October 2020; As per December 2019 Glencore has entered into an agreement to acquire the LNG business of Orsted A/S, which includes right to use 3bcm of annual regasification capacity at the Gate terminal in Rotterdam until 2031, transaction is expected to close in the summer of 2020; The project is operated by Gasunie and Vopak
