January 2026 - The project is owned by Prime Infrastructure Capital, Inc.; November 2025 - Prime Infra acquired a 60% stake in the project, with First Gen retaining 20% stake and Tokyo Gas holding the remaining 20% stake; June 2025 - First Gen Corp. has entered into a strategic partnership with Prime Infrastructure Capital, Inc. to sell 60% stake in the project; July 2023 - FIRST GEN Corp. has secured a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Shell for the terminal; As per March 2020, First Gen has filed an application with the Philippine Department of Energy, seeking approval to construct, expand, rehabilitate and modify its planned LNG terminal
