Status Notes

March 2026 - QatarEnergy declared force majeure on all LNG shipments on 4 March 2026 following Iranian drone attacks on Ras Laffan Industrial City on 2 March 2026. Production halted; Energy Minister stated return to normal deliveries expected 'weeks to months' after hostilities end. Shell and TotalEnergies cascaded force majeure to downstream customers. August 2017 - RasGas and Qatargas has co-loaded the cargoes at the Ras Laffan terminal in Qatar on the Q-Flex LNG vessel, Al Khuwair; Train 1 and Train 2 came online in 1999 and 2000 respectively
