November 2025 - The project is operated by ADGAS; October 2024 - ADNOC has cancelled upgrade plans for the project; As per November 2020, ADNOC LNG has signed up to a six-year supply agreement with Vitol, for the sale of 1.8mntpa of post-2022 LNG volumes and a two-year supply agreement with Total for 0.75mntpa of 2021 and 2022 LNG volumes; ADGAS was in tough talks with Jera for contract extension in December 2017; Train 1 and 2 came online in 1977, while Train 3 came online in 1994
