February 2025 - The project has a capacity of 11mntpa; December 2023 - In July 2021, Quebec government rejected the LNG proposal based on the results of a two-year public environmental impact assessment; June 2023 - The Canadian government has refused approval to the project on the basis of report published in 2021; March 2023 - The project has been turned down by Quebec government in 2021 and Canada's Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in February 2022; In June 2021, Symbio Infrastructure (Symbio) and Siemens Energy have agreed that Siemens Energy will provide engineering services, comprehensive lifecycle equipment and technology solutions, and further carbon emission footprint reduction solutions for the project; Project Cost - CAD14bn
