March 2025 - The project is owned by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia; November 2022 - The FSRU Karunia Dewata vessel was ordered for the project to upgrade an existing solution that used a floating regasification unit in combination with a vessel serving as floating storage unit; As per May 2020, The Benoa FSRU receives around 0.3Mtpa LNG from the Bontang liquefaction plant and delivers gas to a 200MW gas - fired power plant located 3.7 km away from the receiving facility
