Status Notes

December 2025 - BOTAS has signed a binding 9-year LNG sale and purchase agreement with Woodside Energy starting in 2030; October 2025 - Woodside has signed and closed a transaction with Williams to sell a 10% stake in the project; June 2025 - Woodside and Petronas signed a 15-year non-binding agreement deal to supply 1mntpa of LNG to Malaysia starting in 2028; April 2025 - Woodside Energy has signed a long-term supply deal with BP for feedstock gas for the first two stages of the LNG; January 2025 - Baker Hughes has received an order from Bechtel Energy to supply gas technology equipment for the project; October 2024 - Woodside has completed the acquisition of Tellurian and its assets; January 2024 - Bechtel has completed piling work for the first plant and also concrete pouring for all plant one compressor foundations; March 2022 - Tellurian has commenced the construction of the terminal; In July 2021, Tellurian has terminated USD700mn deal with TotalEnergies for the project, and FERC approval has been requested by the end of 2022; In September 2019, Petronet LNG has signed MoU with Tellurian for a potential equity investment of about USD2.5bn and purchase of as much as 5mntpa of LNG, Woodside reached a final investment decision for LNG in April 2025
