Status Notes

January 2026 - Project expected to complete in 2028; February 2025 - ADNOC has signed a 15-year sales and purchase agreement with Osaka Gas for the supply of up to 0.8mtpa of LNG from the project; July 2024 - ADNOC has signed an agreements with BP, Mitsui &Co., Shell and TotalEnergies under which each will take a 10% stake in the project; June 2024 - ADNOC has taken a final investment decision for the project; July 2023 - In March 2023, ADNOC has announced that the facility will be built at the Ruwais downstream oil and gas hub in Abu Dhabi rather than in Fujairah; Each train has a capacity of 4.8mntpa of LNG
