May 2026 - Venture Global, Inc. has entered into agreements with TotalEnergies and Vitol for the purchase of additional U.S. liquefied natural gas, to be supplied from terminal; January 2026 - Venture Global LNG Inc. is seeking approval from the US FERC to boost the capacity to 35mntpa at the project; November 2025 - Venture Global LNG Inc. has submitted an application to the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for the project; July 2025 - Venture Global initially proposed an expansion of 18.6mntpa, but the new filing increases the total proposed additional capacity to 24.8mntpa
